We should have learned to live with wolves. Maybe we would be able to get along with each other better. Thank you for your beautiful writing. It frequently feels like poetry--drizzle, frizzle.
So beautiful as always. I resonated so much with this piece, be it for different reasons - picking my nephews up from school, navigating a new life without my Dad, the added heartache of the news and all the walking. Think all we can do sometimes is literally put one foot in front of the other and let the beauty of nature hold us up . Thank you Becky as poignant as it is gently optimistic and much needed ❤️ Xx

Thank you so much, Francie :) And agree about the wolves. How different our landscapes would be if we had to live alongside each other
I’m so glad your neighbour is ok. You write so incredibly beautifully, thank you.
May I ask what your trail app is called..? xo
Thanks so much, Chloe :) The app is AllTrails although I've just downloaded the OS one too. Can 't get enough of maps! xx
Fantastic, thank you! xx
